Thankful Forever
Thanksgiving is a special day in America. You know the story of the Pilgrims. In 1621 they gathered together for the first year that a Thanksgiving was observed. Abraham Lincoln, in 1863, declared Thanksgiving a national holiday. Every year in America as a nation we take a day of thanksgiving. We gather together with family and with friends and have food and we celebrate this day of Thanksgiving. It is day that the Scriptures say that Thanksgiving is also a duty. The Bible demands us to give thanksgiving unto the Lord. For instance, Psalm 100 verse 4, says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His Name”
“Be thankful forever!”
